Sujani

The famous weaving technique of Bharuch, seems to have originated in Bharuch, Gujarat, around 1860 A.D. Sujani is a woven, padded quilt using double weave technique. Fabric is woven on double cloth principle.

Cotton is inserted into a square to give a quilt effect, which is the most popular in the country for being used as decorative blankets and quilts.

Keeping market trends in mind, new products items like hammock, car seat cover, table mats, low sitting stools, tea-coaster and upholstery are also being developed.
